The dynamic husband and wife duo of Ryan & Alicia Weigel started Evolution Construction in the Fall of 2020. It began because we saw the need for basement specific contracting, especially with the recent building boom in the Fargo/Moorhead area.

We had so much fun being able to create/re-create basements that we have already expanded our construction services to include new home construction, home remodeling, general contracting, and finishing carpentry.

​

So many people build a new home, but to save on the initial cost, they put off the basement for a “future project” and when we built our own home 8 years ago we were in that exact same boat.

 

Six years, two kids and a bulldog later we got around to hauling out the broken Christmas lights, treadmill (AKA the collector of dust) and more totes than you can shake a stick at and said “Let’s finish it.”

Remarkably, we are both still alive and married to this day!

After the project was complete, we knew there had to be better way to handle the process. It was stressful, it was dusty and the endless phone calls to find people to do the job without auctioning off a kidney was mind-numbing.

Putting Construction Experience to Work!

Ryan comes with 15 years of construction industry experience, along with an additional 19 years of project management. Type A is the only way. He keeps the projects running on time and on budget and handles all the phone calls you don’t want to make.

Alicia comes with a sharp wit and a keen eye for design. She helps our clients make decisions that fit not only their design style, but more importantly, their lifestyle. 

​

Ultimately, our #1 goal is to create 𝒷𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝒾𝒻𝓊𝓁 𝓈𝓅𝒶𝒸𝑒𝓈 you will use and enjoy and to make that happen with as little stress as possible.
